Repiping and pipe replacement in Paphos
Brown water first thing in the morning, weak pressure at the taps or one leak after another are usually signs that the pipework itself has reached the end of its life. We replace old pipework in homes and businesses across Paphos with new copper or PEX, and test the whole installation before any wall or floor is closed.

What is included
- Full and partial repipes
- Limescale blockages cleared
- Installation tested before walls are closed
When repiping makes sense
Patching one leak at a time works for a while, but in older properties the same pipes tend to fail again a little further along. Galvanised steel pipes rust from the inside, and Cyprus hard water lines pipes of every kind with limescale until very little water can get through. Signs that it may be time to replace rather than repair include:
- Brown or rusty water, especially after the taps have not been used for a while
- Pressure that has dropped gradually over the years
- Repeated leaks on the same run of pipework
- Visible corrosion, green staining or crusted joints on exposed pipes
- A renovation that is opening up walls and floors anyway
Full or partial repipe
Not every property needs a complete repipe. Sometimes only the hot water lines, the supply from the roof tank or a single bathroom or kitchen are affected. We inspect the existing installation, explain which sections are worth replacing and agree the scope with you before any work starts.
We then install new copper or PEX pipework, routed neatly and with isolation valves where they make future maintenance easier. Where pipes run inside walls, we keep the chases as tidy as possible and coordinate with your tiler or builder if you are renovating.
Testing before anything is closed
Every new installation is pressure-tested before any wall, floor or ceiling is closed. That is the moment when a weak joint can be found and fixed in minutes, rather than after the tiles are back on. Once the test is complete, we flush the system, check the flow at each tap and show you where the main valves are.
Planning your repipe
Repiping is far easier to plan than an emergency. Call us, send photos of any exposed pipes, the water meter area and stained taps on WhatsApp, or fill in the online form. If you are planning a renovation, get in touch early so the pipework can be done while the walls are open.
Frequently asked questions
Copper or PEX: which is better?
Both are reliable when installed correctly. Copper is rigid and durable and suits exposed runs and connections to water heaters. PEX is flexible, copes well with hard water and needs fewer joints inside walls. We recommend the material based on your property, where the pipes will run and what is already installed.
Do I have to move out while the pipes are replaced?
Usually not. We plan the work in stages so that only the section being changed is shut off and you have water for most of the day. A full repipe of a larger property means more disruption, and we will talk you through the plan, room by room, before we start.
Can I replace only part of the pipework?
Yes. If the problem is limited to the hot water lines, the supply from the roof tank or one bathroom, a partial repipe is often enough. We inspect the installation first and tell you honestly which sections need replacing and which can stay as they are.
Why is my tap water brown in the morning?
Water that sits overnight in old galvanised steel pipes picks up rust, which shows as brown or orange water when you first open the tap. It often clears after a short time, but it is a sign that the pipes are corroding from the inside. A worn anode in the water heater can cause a similar effect on the hot side only.
Need this job done?
Call us or send a photo on WhatsApp. One photo is usually enough for us to see the problem and tell you what the repair involves.
